The paper presents the effects of blend injection and dual strategies on mixture formation combustion syngas-biogas-hydrogen fueling engine working in solar-biomass hybrid renewable energy system. research was performed by simulation method a retrofitted Honda GX200 spark-ignition engine. results show that at end compression process, case 50% syngas-50% biogas, fuel-rich zone positioned top chamber, whereas injection, this found piston. Combustion and Emission of a Compression Ignition Engine Fueled with Diesel and Hydrogen-Methane Mixture
The present study conducted experimental investigation on combustion and emission characteristics of compression ignition engine using diesel as pilot fuel and methane, hydrogen and methane/hydrogen mixture as gaseous fuels at 1800 rev min. The effect of gaseous fuel on peak cylinder pressure and heat release is modest at low to medium loads. At high load, the high combustion temperature and hi...
متن کاملProviding a thermodynamic model to simulate the spark ignition engine fueled with natural gas and ethanol mixture
The use of natural gas as an alternative fuel, in recent decades has been proposed. Good combustion properties and cats less than it could be the perfect choice for the next generation. Simulation models can be of great help engine designers. Simulation models to reduce the time and costs for the development of new engines as well as in identifying the technical value that need special attentio...
متن کاملControlling Cyclic Combustion Variations in Lean-Fueled Spark-Ignition Engines
Under conditions of lean fueling or high exhaust gas recirculation, interactions between residual cylinder gas and freshly injected fuel and air produce undesirable combustion instabilities in spark-ignition engines. The resulting dynamics can be described as noisy bifurcations of a nonlinear map and are complicated by cylinder-to-cylinder coupling. We discuss the key dynamic features relevant ...
متن کاملNonperiodic oscillations of Pressure in a SPARK Ignition Combustion Engine
We report our results on non-periodic experimental time series of pressure in a spark ignition engine. The experiments were performed for a low rotational velocity of a crankshaft and a relatively large spark advance angle. We show that the combustion process has many chaotic features. Surprisingly, the reconstructed attractor has a characteristic butterfly shape similar to a chaotic attractor ...
متن کاملPerformance and emission analysis of hydrogen fueled compression ignition engine with variable water injection timing
The effect of variable water injection timing on performance and emission characteristics of hydrogen fueled compression ignition (HFCI) engine has been investigated and the results are presented in this paper. In this study, water is injected from 20 BTDC to 20 ATDC with injection duration of 20 CA and 40 CA. Hydrogen is injected at the intake port with fixed injection timing from 0 CA to 40 C...
